Mini-Review: It's hard to imagine anyone other than Noomi Rapace in the role of Lisbeth. The casting is impeccable. The acting is near perfect. The direction is taut and the cinematography is top notch. There are some very "intense" scenes though, so it is not for everyone.
Mini-Review: I've enjoyed watching this film more than once. Great tunes, great mood, interesting characters.
Mini-Review: It was a turning point in the genre with its amazing for the time special effects. Lots of corn in the dialog and none of the leads was a threat to win an Oscar for acting, but its an amiable frenetic romp when you need to unwind at the end of the week.
Mini-Review: Generally delivers what it promises, although it goes a little overboard on the melodrama at a couple of points.
