Mini-Review: Better than the first, and by far better than any of the sequals, they should have stopped at this one. The others need to be "hyper-sleep" nightmares when Ripley and Newt finally wake up.
Mini-Review: This film brought my childhood hero to the big screen in a way that it had never been done before (or since).
Mini-Review: Yes it's rather campy by today's standards, but at the time, this was state of the art for budget, cast and effects. Star Trek and Star Wars borrowed heavily from this classic.
Mini-Review: Killer time traveling robot, what more could you want. And to think, they originally wanted OJ Simpson to play the part of the Terminator, but at the time he was considered too nice.
Mini-Review: This film jumpstarted the Sci-Fi genre for the next decade and beyond. It was also still in the day when the newspaper ads boosted "Held over for 68th week", you just don't see that any more.
