"Before I'm labeled a Snyder hater I just want to say that 300 is one of my top 15 movies of all time. I also really liked Watchmen too. Visually this movie is great; I'm a fan of Snyder's use of slow mo too so that's not why this movie sucks. The story is bare bones basic and the dialog is cringe worthy at times. Snyder is not a good story teller pure and simple. He is a great director but needs to stay away from writing the movies and leave that to the pros."
