Mini-Review: Some amazing performances here from Brando, Leigh and Malden. The plot takes a bit to get going but once it does, it doesn't let up. Thanks to the Simpsons episode "A Streetcar Named Marge" I thought this film was a musical for the past 10 years and wasn't all that enthused to check it out. With the recent bluray release I realized what the film really was! The black & white here works perfectly with certain aspects of the film wouldn't have the same effect at all in colour. Highly recommended!

Mini-Review: I'm only giving it this high a score due to pure nostalgia. I could probably toss this in right now and recite every line from when I watched as a kid.
