T8 Zombieland (2009) - Jul 02, 2010
"An all around fun & enjoyable film. I want a rollercoaster where I shoot zombies with shotguns now."
T8 Avatar (2009) - Jun 29, 2010
"Yeah it's formulaic & predictable, but it's also subversive. How often is the viewpoint of the oppressed & marginalized shown so distinctly in a big budget motion picture? No way could a film of this scope and popularity be made about the Sudanese, the Palestinians, or anyone that experiences large scale bigotry. By placing it in a fantastical and alien world this message becomes much more palatable. It creates an empathy against oppression, which is important in a world so lacking in empathy."
T6 Julie & Julia (2009) - Jun 25, 2010
T6 Up in the Air (2009) - Jun 25, 2010
T10 Let the Right One In (2008) - Jun 17, 2010
T8 IMAX: Hubble 3D (2010) - Jun 17, 2010
T1 Disaster Movie (2008) - Jun 15, 2010
"fucking awful"
T6 Orphan (2009) - Jun 13, 2010
"There's an unexpectedly good movie buried under a ton of horror movie cliches. The film swings back and forth between almost brilliant to groan inducing bad, but the good outweighs the bad and at least the bad gave me laughs."
T6 The Smashing Machine (2002) - Jun 10, 2010
"Full disclosure: I'm a huge MMA dork so I was already predisposed to like this film. That said, it's an interesting and fair look into a sport that was certainly misunderstood when this documentary was released back in 2002, and is still somewhat misunderstood to this day. This film's doubly interesting when you look what's become of the people featured since its release. "
T6 Carlito's Way (1993) - Jun 10, 2010
