Mini-Review: The non-Megashark vs. Crocosaurus scenes (featuring an only slightly grown-up Steve Urkel) actually put me to sleep. The fight scenes themselves were fun the first 2-3 times, then increasingly snooze-inducing as the same bad CGI was repeated over and over and... zzzzz.....
Mini-Review: What... what just happened? Why were those people even whale watching? Humorous, but confusing as fjükk.
Mini-Review: If you can get past the jerky Bay-esque camerawork and jingoistic America-saves-the-world-again plot, there is actually some damn fine acting to be enjoyed in this film. As a whole, the story is totally predictable and schmaltzy, but the acting is good enough to make you care about the characters, and that's what counts, right? The one thing I couldn't figure out is, why would anyone fight so hard to save L.A.?
