Mini-Review: Witty picture, take 5 people who depend on each other, add a scarce and seemingly precious resource, sit back and observe... Maybe trite for some, but this is an allegory that should be pushed until it becomes cliche.
Mini-Review: Definitely surreal. Now I should read the book to find out how I missed what I missed of the story in this well animated, obscure short-film.
Mini-Review: This is a quiet, artistic piece of cinematography. A visually rich narrative in contrast with sparse dialogue. The revelations of this film are like a broken tap; as a viewer you may either be annoyed by the dripping sound or grateful for the water.
Mini-Review: This film teases the brain to analyse human actions and behaviours. What makes this film stand apart from the characters it portrays is that this story will never get old, the import of this story will not fade, or have to be retired (that is at least until further developments of Artificial Intelligence prove me wrong).
Mini-Review: A long look at the pain that two people in love can inflict on each other. The sharp, quick-paced dialogue of this script creates the illusion of two mirrors in endless reflection, while the characters are surrounded by a beauty which passes them by.
Mini-Review: An entertaining introduction to a lady I knew nothing about, but now would like to hear more from. Ingredients include intelligence, wit and wry humility.
Mini-Review: It's funny and it's true... Nursing homes do have fake bus stops to appease Alzheimers patients. Life is like a cigarette...
