Mini-Review: it is de palma and pacino so it would remind you scarface but believe me, its not! it is more like a donnie brasco but in a more thriller way. our guy carlito here is really cool and pacino acted like the way he acted at scent of a woman. the voice, eye movements are all the same. sean penn here delivers a really good performance, one of his best, he is even unrecognizable. this is a really good movie but it is and always will be always a second movie which reminds you the actual one...
Mini-Review: a complete waste of time. the summary on the left side is a total crap. it does not tell the story on both scales. it introduces us every single from americans. all of them are cool, have great courage, they are all funny and amusing even in hard times and even during a combat. as you should guess: all the germans are complete idiots who are inevitable and don't have the simplest perception skills. so shame on you hollywood. this was from 1962 and now it is 2010 but you are still the same.
Mini-Review: a film which lets you see all the details and comprehend the whole story but it doesn't dramatize it. it is long film but not a slow one soo a must see...
Mini-Review: speech in the movie are very limited. especially the main character does not talk at all. i expected the visuals to be more flashy in order to keep up. the camera focuses on the characaters and yes there is a touching, fantastic love story there but because of the lack of visual presentation, i unable to comprehend the purpose and progress of the story. may be there wasn't one...
Mini-Review: This is one of the very best documentary i have ever seen... This will temper the enjoyment of your next visit to see performing dolphins.
Mini-Review: if you expect a hollywood serial killer movie, then you should look somewhere else... it is really the opposite of every hollywood serial killer movie you have seen. this one is so original and you should really see it
Mini-Review: it is fable. it is the handbook of magical realism. it hits you from every direction and you can not recover in a short time. to make it short: this is the best movie ever and emir kusturica is the best director.
Mini-Review: it is a really good project with 21 directors and 18 shorts. some of them are not as good as the others but it is like reading a book which consists of the stories from your favorite writers. especially alexandar payne with the story of a middle aged mail carrier from denver made me unconscious.
Mini-Review: the film gives you enough time to understand the inner feelings of the characters. the plot moves you all around and never lets you go. ben kingsley is just a perfect actor and jennifer connelly is just an angel.
Mini-Review: i waited and tried to get into it but it was impossible. i stayed for two hours and forty minutes to figure out the deep meaning of it but guess what? there wasn't one! there's no more to the movie than you thought there was. so far this one is the only recommendation from criticker that i didn't like...
