Mini-Review: Engaging and touching. This film does a wonderful job of digging into the depths of its subjects in a short period of time, and often leaves you conflicted about the choices the Mesa dwellers make. Drugs, alcohol, guns, and mental illness all play their roles, but this story is ultimately about people who have cut themselves off from society in search of a better life. I got far more than I expected with this movie.
