Mini-Review: I smiled through this entire film, and my wife wants to learn more about the Lost Generation in Paris. What more could you ask for?
Mini-Review: Disappointing. Too sad to be a comedy, really. A slightly similar theme to, but compares really badly with, "Almost Famous."
Mini-Review: Pleasant enough academic comedy. Luke Wilson is an English teacher beloved by students, but lacking the social/political skills to navigate the shoals of the tenure process. His problems are compounded by assorted family issues, and his over-the-top friend who runs the school's Bigfoot club (yet can't figure out why he can't get tenure either).
Mini-Review: Disappointing. Some potential here, but as others have said, the characters were generally unlikable. There were a few smart lines, but just not very much fun.
