Mini-Review: it had an inetresting plot, but the screenplay was a let down!!!! Schumacher directed it vey well with the shaky cameras, a graphic-novel-clad surrounding but the end was too obvious. good acting though by jim carrey

Mini-Review: Eastern Promises is a well-written, bleak and yet a mesmerizing film. the locations are strikingly gothic, the screenplay is taut and the characterization is believable. Viggo is terrific as nikolai and Watts is tender. i loved the scene where Viggo is tattoed on his knees with stars!! vivacious drama!!!! strongly recommended!!!!!

Mini-Review: it is comparatively a better adaption than the da vinci code. it actually lives up to the the core of the book. hanks puts on a fine performance as a harvard symbologist and ron howard dhas directed the movie with a tighter lens. all in all its worth a dekko!!!!
