Recent Rankings
50 Sleepy Hollow
Mini-Review: Good set design and nice atmosphere but long, a tad convuluted and of course; it changed the classic story ending. Unforgiveable. Special bonus points: Mentioned Hessan mercenaries. Cool.
25 Stargate
Mini-Review: Not a terrible original idea combined with lackluster effects and acting. The series it spawned was also yawn-worthy.
90 Bad Santa
Mini-Review: One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time. This movie if it had lost the gross-out might have managed to score even higher with me. Full of wonderful sardonic humor and sarcasm.
60 National Treasure
Mini-Review: Roughly entertaining and cohesive. Interesting plot and I do have a thing for treasure hunters but if it had been done by a more serious production company and made it more gritty/dark it could have been much better.
25 European Vacation
Mini-Review: I knew as a kid this movie sucked. I couldnt take another road plot picture, but this time with weird (ooohhh) europeans. Forget it. If it inspired Euro-trip then it deserves the points. Otherwise forget about it.
25 Return to Neverland
Mini-Review: Typical fare as a child. Yawn.
75 Blind Spot: Hitler's Secretary
Mini-Review: Decent for a documentery. Wonder how solid/conclusive the proof for this ladies story is but if it is all true and I believe it probably is it was pretty darn interesting.
50 Firefox
Mini-Review: I was a kid and super russian fighter jets were awesome. Remove the childish love and its fairly sub-par.
60 Peter Pan
Mini-Review: Normally dislike the Peter Pan story. But this was darker and more real overall. Seemed more intense somehow. That made it slightly more enjoyable overall.
80 Cars
Mini-Review: Pretty enjoyable for a Pixar film but slow and long. Needed some shortening.
