65 Mad Max - Mar 20, 2010
Mini-Review: This is a movie until it's fun, but I expected a little more. It has a simple story but a cool atmosphere. But things have incredibly cheesy and cliche, as the villains. Is not great, but you can find some fun here.
75 The 400 Blows - Mar 20, 2010
Mini-Review: Classic French. A movie intense and sensitive. It is not hard to understand why he is so revered.
5 Love Happens - Mar 20, 2010
Mini-Review: I hate this kind of movie. Without identity, superficial. Designed to be melodramatic and cute. But simply not convincing.
85 Ricky Gervais: Out of England - Mar 20, 2010
Mini-Review: I'm big fan of Ricky Gervais, funny bastard. Of course, not everything is super funny, but most of the content made me laugh a lot.
90 Shutter Island - Mar 19, 2010
Mini-Review: An idea not totally original, but stunningly executed. Scorsese does what is expected of a great director, and he does not disappoint. Scorsese draws the maximum of the story, creating an atmosphere distressing that confuses reality with fantasy.
85 Ran - Mar 18, 2010
Mini-Review: My favorite Kurosawa film so far. Although not an extreme fan of Japanese culture, this movie is impressive. Technically it is amazing, showing the great talent of the director.
80 Ben-Hur - Mar 17, 2010
Mini-Review: One of the greatest epics ever made. It is an interesting historical work shows many customs, beliefs and punishments that time. And has one of the most memorable scenes of cinema, the chariot race.
90 The Diving Bell and the Butterfly - Mar 15, 2010
Mini-Review: A beautiful film. Naturally... sad, not in a melodramatic way, but lyrical and poetic. Incredibly well-acted and directed.
80 Metropolis - Mar 12, 2010
Mini-Review: This film is very impressive for its time, a big landmark in cinema. Fritz Lang was really a genius, creating this film and influencing many others. There is no comparison with the films of today, it is very old. A remake would be nice, has a very interesting story.
90 Notorious - Mar 12, 2010
Mini-Review: Perhaps this is not the greatest movie of Alfred Hitcock, after all are the many masterpieces, classic movies, created by him. But it is another amazing film. It is considered one of the most complete film, everything is good in it: the direction, script, technical aspects, performances. All above average, very great.
