80 Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: While slightly predictable and a little dragged out, it's still funny. Russell Brand basically plays himself, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as he was one of the best parts of this movie.
80 Knocked Up (2007) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: I don't know what it is about Judd Apatow but he's got a talent for making comedies that actually manage to tell an interesting and oddly heartfelt story while still being funny.
60 Once (2007) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: Maybe I just didn't "get it," but this film just felt like a way to get their (admittedly beautiful) music out there. I liked the ending but the rest of it seemed a little pointless.
70 Hamlet 2 (2008) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: This really would have been better if it was just an hour and a half of the musical they put on -- that's the real highlight of the film and the only time where it's honestly funny. Rock Me Sexy Jesus is potentially the best musical sequence you will ever see in a film.
79 Labyrinth (1986) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: Cute and infinitely rewatchable.
75 MirrorMask (2005) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: Visually stunning but seems to lose its point halfway through.
85 Shaun of the Dead (2004) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: Anything that makes me overcome my hatred for zombie movies has to be good.
89 Hot Fuzz (2007) - Jan 30, 2009
60 The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) - Jan 30, 2009
Mini-Review: Most of its potential for brilliance was ruined by the sloppy editing.
85 Big Fish (2003) - Jan 30, 2009
