A Recent Mini-Review
"A fun, hilarious, bittersweet coming of age romance. It may be the oldest story in the book, but there are ways in which it avoids and subverts the average, cliched rom-com arc (most notably a non-linear narrative). It definitely occupies a masculine perspective, in which we're made to sympathize with Tom's naive infatuation with Summer, who is portrayed with fair if not intricate insight. It's playful and stylish, but most importantly it comes by its affections with sincerity." - Sat, 01:08
