Mini-Review: Some neat ideas, but they don't hit particularly hard in the 21st century, and they're not enough of a payoff for a slow movie that has pretensions of being more than it is.

Mini-Review: The CG effects with the painting were overdone and hacky, but beyond that, where's the problem? It's a great story done well enough and Colin Firth is great as Wotton. It's not a timeless classic but it doesn't do nearly enough harm to the story to make it unwatachable.
