Mini-Review: Now we're talking. Over the top gore, plenty of cheesy lines, but in a good way. THIS was what I was expecting in Grind House. Listening Tarantino??
Mini-Review: Pretty bland stuff. The usual blabbering in a Tarantino movie, but this time I didn't find any of it interesting. Has no real point unlike Kill Bill or Inglourious Basterds, and has no real interesting scenes like Pulp Fiction.
Mini-Review: Have watched this a LOT, and will continue to. Story telling of a different kind, not much dialogue, beautiful score and plenty of violence. Works perfectly for Arnie's introduction as a lead actor.
Mini-Review: It had Will Ferrell, so I thought - yes this will be my type of movie. Not so - I think I laughed once...
Mini-Review: Waited a LONG time to see this and it massively underwhelmed me. I was ready for some sci-fi awesomeness, but I found myself falling asleep. Will watch again to confirm at some point, but not my type of movie at all - sorry fanboys... I'm sure it's very deep, symobolic, clever, blah blah, but it's just not very interesting to me. That is the primary requirement of a movie to me: it must keep me interested/entertained. If I want to see art, there are plenty of museums around...
Mini-Review: Not engaging enough for me - still a guy with his arm stuck in a rock for an hour. Good effort, but nowhere near the awesomeness reviews were leading me to expect.
Mini-Review: I enjoyed it - sorry popular opinion....
