Mini-Review: The "Fiction" segment seems out of place, though the second "Non-Fiction" segment is brilliant. Even though both segments were wonderfully shaped in a small amount of time, "Fiction" suffered because the attachement with the audience only lasts about fifteen minutes.
Mini-Review: An excellently directed and animated film based on the series. Although the cronology of the event (movie) is hard to place in the series cronology, it's obvious it takes place before the final episode in the series. It's filled with amazing scenes, just like the TV series.
Mini-Review: This is a film that seems hard to follow, but easy to understand once everything is pieced together. Unfortunately, it also leaves too many open strings without answers.
Mini-Review: Psuedo-Philosophical babble, but interesting for conversation and thinking afterwards. It's mostly odds and ends of questions that a second year college student might ask.
Mini-Review: Decently acted and beautiful camera-work, but the plot is more on the adventure side, then drama. I can't vouche for the historical accuracy.
Mini-Review: Spectacular adaption of Shirow's work. A fan could spot the influences from the comic which the director drawed upon. It's a lot more "thought-heavy" than the first GiTS, but I think it's also a lot more meaningful.
