Recent Rankings
90 Ryan (2004) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: Wonderful, disturbing, powerful.
30 Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: When I was a kid, it introduced me to a lot of Beatles songs. However, I'm not keeping loyal.
82 The Selfish Giant (1971) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: The animation isn't special, but the telling of this masterful story is magnificent.
65 Cowboys & Aliens (2011) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: Hahahahahaha... no.
83 Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: Solid action film with a few good laughs. Nothing more we really needed from a fourth MI.
82 The Adjustment Bureau (2011) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: A good time was had by all. Fun, despite some minor contradictions.
50 Max Dugan Returns (1983) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: Forgetable. I certainly don't remember it.
90 Kevin Smith: Burn in Hell (2012) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: Kevin Smith should do stand up comedy. Damn, he's funny. You need to have seen Red State for this one, but it's worth it to hear his story of his relationship with the sign-carrying Westboro Baptist Church (yeah-- THOSE guys)
87 Strangers on a Train (1951) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: About half way through I said, "I know where this is going." I didn't have a clue, actually. A great thriller, with performances that actually get better as the film goes on.
90 Les Misérables (1934) - May 29, 2012
Mini-Review: The best adaptation of the novel. Long enough to be a miniseries, it holds the complex plot together and keeps the pace interesting. Great performances and the powerful story makes this a favorite.
