Mini-Review: Gobsmacking technical wizardry transports viewers to an alien world of nature loving people. Humans are the villains here with their plundering ways. The story is just a co passenger in this journey of amazing technical show thats a must watch in 3d and in IMAX! This movie has set the bar in 3d. The 3d in this pic is surreal without any cliched approaches. Weak story however has a hard message. Nature is important don't plunder it.
Mini-Review: This will rate as one of the good movies in my book not for anything but for its script, dialogues, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey and excellent production. This should be used in studying film making.
Mini-Review: Its starts off with a premise of presenting a story of stone age man's encounters with wild beasts of all kind. Instead we are treated to a rehashed version of different movies. The one that comes closest in comparison is Mel Gibson's Apocalypto though this is nowhere near Mel's epic effort.
Mini-Review: A story that follows the protagonist Heinrich's life through his journey to conquer the Mt.Everest. More than the mission, its the turns and twists in his life that crosses roads with the fall out of WW-II along with his own personal devils. Lovely locales, strong dialogues, good production values and excellent supporting cast liven up what otherwise would have become a staid film. A must watch.
Mini-Review: While one can appreciate the team for squeezing in so much into the movie, the movie itself does not do justice to the book. Too much has been chopped away for the sake of time and a PG rating. I'm disappointed.
Mini-Review: Great visuals. An all too american dialogues for po in what appears to be a movie based in China!
