Or supernatural entities like elves, vampires, demons, werewolves etc that exist in a modern earth setting. Not to be confused with Supernatural Horror, which is designed to scare - whereas supernatural dramas are designed to entertain and tell longer serialised stories.

Magical Comedy shows usually about witches and wizards and ghosts (Casper) in domestic, school and contemporary settings. Less Dungeons and Dragons and LOTR parody (which is more Comic Fantasy) and more Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

TV series that focus on sheriffs enforcing the law in Western scenarios.
