Cute Micro Home Theater

tiny micro sony home movie

I would pet it all day long.

Micro Size Does Not Mean Micro Sound This system is for the home theater enthusiast who wants the sound to be heard and not seen. Sony has amazingly reduced the size of high-quality sound with these golf-ball size speakers, which handle only the highest frequencies. The mid-range and bass frequencies are provided by the 2-way subwoofer unit with its dual 100-watt amplifiers. This combination provides extremely good imaging, making viewers believe they are surrounded by full-range speakers.

Online Documentary: Riding Giants

I love finding these full length features.

This documentary takes viewers along surfing’s timeline, highlighting the group of extraordinary adventurers that emerged: surfers who, not satisfied with the mere recreational and social aspects of the sport, began searching for bigger and bigger waves, pushing the boundaries of performance to explore the "unridden realm."

How do you like it? Feel free to give Riding Giants a rating on Criticker.

Denver Airport already offers free Wifi, and now they’ve teamed up Disney/ABC to offer movie downloads through their network. I wish I could tell you the movie service is free… but still, it’s a step in the right direction.

Now iTunes Rents Movies

We all heard rumors – but it’s official now. iTunes has just enabled movie rentals.

Standard-definition movie rentals on the iTunes Store are $3.99 for new releases and $2.99 for library titles. Rent a movie and you have 30 days to start watching. Hit Play, and you have 24 hours to finish it – or play it as many times as you want. Rentals disappear when they expire, so they won’t take up storage space on your hard drive.

Hulu Beta Invites

Watch your favorite TV shows like The Simpsons or Scrubs on Hulu for free. Hulu is a new streaming video site, still under beta and inaccessible without an invite. If you’re not located in the US, don’t get too excited – Hulu only streams to users from the United States. Which sucks for Criticker headquarters. I guess I should just go and look at some more rainbows.

Good thing, Criticker knows where to find those invites. Hurry though – only 1800 are available.
