Not to be confused with Supernatural Horror, which is designed to scare - whereas supernatural dramas are designed to entertain and tell longer serialised stories.

Series primarily focused around the romantic lives of adults (between 25 and 40).

Series set in American Historical Periods. For modern examples, this only includes series deliberately depicting a previous period. So a American TV show made in 1960, depicting the contemporary time period, would not qualify.
