100 Men and a Girl

Adorable. It's very saccharine even when things go badly, but it's charming enough to get away with it and both the comedy and music are pretty good if nothing special.

A sweet feel good movie where Deanna Durbin overdose this with her energy. I'm still having a hard time taking to her style of singing. My ears bleed. But they wrap this up in a well shaped family blend with plenty of famous actors and a exhausting story where you know it'll all turn out alright. Nothing is believable and it's all pure Hollywood. Which is what you want for your easy entertainment. Features famous conductor Leopold Stokowski in a rather large part with his Philadelphia Orchestra.
