Trying to combine a north-european absurdism with jeunet-ienne cuteness and failing in both. still a nice comedy-drama to watch. could have worked better as a short movie.

Hamer returns with a charming little rarity delivered with recognizable ice-cold visual precision and warm subtle humor. It examines an unusual subject while it get quite philosophical exploring bigger questions like how much does a life weigh? Perfectly accompanied by Kaada's score that's strongly present but never intrusive. The visual expression is unfortunately stronger than the dialogue and occasionally it struggles with the pace in my opinion.
