Paranormal/ghost movies often fall apart when the mysteries are over explained. Although, some kind of internal logic or understanding of the supernatural is usually established to make sense or further the story. However this film, somehow manages to be confusing and really cliche while having tons of direct exposition. Like a character reads about their spooky situation in a book out loud to another character type of exposition, but still you're constantly bored asking why/what's happening.
