Had potential of being a really good action flick, but needed a much better actor as the lead. The story did seem kinda rehashed and familiar, but it was decently filmed and wasn't hard to watch the whole thing.

Cena felt slightly out of his element here; he's definitely improved in the past half a decade. His counterpart (oh, dude, he's that there one guy from Game of Thrones; I didn't even realize. He's waaay better in that) also wasn't too convincing, and the film felt slightly hamstrung by its concept. Lots of destruction of property and a couple of bland feats of strengths from Cena. Silly amount of flashbacks, especially during the final 20 minutes. Bad, but not painfully so.

What can you expect with John Cena acting? Plus... uhm... wasn't this the plot of Die Hard? The one with Samuel L Jackson, I think. The movie doesn't even attempt to be original. So shitty Die Hard 3? No thanks.

Not a bad little action movie. It's a little too much like the 3rd Die Hard movie and feels like a straight to video film even tho it was released in theaters. Too generic and PG-13 friendly too be as tense as it wants to be but John Cena is surprisingly likeable. With some acting lessons he could end up being one of the few wrestlers who could make movies on the strength of his acting without relying on his wrestling fans.

Laughably bad. John Cena is not going to be an action star. So beefy and lumbering and stupid-looking. But I had fun watching this; the night before, I'd seen Steve McQueen's Hunger, and was in the mood to watch someone well-fed do heroic things, however ridiculous.
