The LDS bias and family connection I have to the willie-martin handcart company lends me to like this film more than I thought I would. Considering the resources available it's done excellently. The drunk husband come come ye saints scene is amazing and the psychological battle between the characters is very interesting. It's filled with gimmicks, stereotypes, and not the best acting but the subject matter is hard to mess up. Pretty solid film.
