A jolly military musical comedy from the Grand National alliance. All very light, but it's only supposed to be a matinée film to pass some time and with it's songs and romance it's a digestible piece of nonsense. The dubbed singing, especially of the lead, felt very out of place, but with the cheery nature of the film it only helped make it a even more corny fun experience.
