While Jo (Roberts) is chained down in a dead end supermarket job, her friends are all out on their own separate adventures: Cassandra (Egerton) is jetting off to New York to meet her Internet boyfriend; Kerrys (Warren-Markland) is on a one woman crusade fighting for female liberation and Shannon (Lovibond) is on a one way trip to meet her maker. Besides some hot chicks in underware nothing really special. Trying to mix Snatch's theme, Vantage Point's style and Spice Girls. Most enjoyable part was nigga ambush with some good lines about chicken, watermelons and racism.

Girl power? There were some good ideas as well as editing, too bad it drags and some events are just far too over the top. Warren-Markland's character does something ridiculous in pretty much every scene. No real pay off in the end which includes whatever they were trying to do with that whole plane finale. Roberts is nice look at on a side note.

Would have been enjoyable, if each persons story was shortened by 15 minutes. It just drags on too much and you begin wishing for the misery to just end.

4.3.2.1 takes a gimmicky plot structure that has ruined films in the past (Vantage Point) and does something good with it, using it to tell distinct stories and reveal new information right at the necessary point. Each story is thematically distinct, and they're all different enough for you to not get bored during any of them. The actors are game, the film has a "girl power" vibe, and there's even a diamond heist if the drama itself isn't compelling enough for you.
