Eh....what can I say? This film simply doesn't feel like it belongs in the "47 Meters Down" universe. I'm not even sure if they are 47 meters down. There are people, and there are sharks...and that's about it.

My score was around 20 until those rather satisfying final 10 minutes.

I am glad I endured the unpleasantness until the last 5 minutes because it was one of the most ridiculous and amusing things I have ever seen. The acting was not great. At first it annoyed me because I wanted a worthy follow up to the original. I wish I embraced the badness sooner, because it may have been a more enjoyable experience.

Somehow dumber than the first one. However, the pure stupidity actually manages to up the unintentional humor and enjoyment factor ever so slightly.

Two sisters fighting for their lives underwater again, but the connection with the first stops here. Roberts manages to go beyond The Descent ripoff by placing an enormous amount of beautiful imagery every time he can -- mixing light, shadows, mud, sirens, screaming and water -- and relentless twists. He's really a showoff. Good for us. Four teens dive in tunnels leading to a Maya underground lost city, only to find themselves trapped there with lots of blind great white sharks swimming around.

I honestly jumped at least once and found the action in the cave pretty intense. I like the idea of being chased around those ruins interesting and unfortunately everything that takes place outside of the ruins is bad. I think it might have been better if the ladies weren't able to talk to each other in the water. Nothing that was said by any of them helped the movie and it might have increased the tension. It is certainly claustrophobic.

More girls, more deaths, and probably more sharks than the predecessor. As with the previous one, it was good at setting up an eerie atmosphere, and displayed an effective use of jumpy scenes. The problem was that the first one felt way more creative than this one. With all the psychological horror (you are not safe even when locked in a cage, the whole oxygen tank thing) gone, it became another typical horror movie that heavily relies on jump scares - just sharks in place of a psychopath.

Unfortunately there's not many good shark-movies, so you can't really expect much whenever there's a new one out. But man, this one was so much fun. Sure there was so much unlikely stuff that happened, but the CGI was pretty darn good and I liked the storyline also. Acting wasn't that good, but it didn't matter too much tbh. Top 5 shark movies for me.

If adrenaline-boosting movie is your fare, then this is it! Truly entertaining, and the sceneries are amazing. After viewing it, I've lost interest in diving in unspoilt or unchartered waterholes no matter how inviting they are. But isn't this a rerun of 2016 movie of same title except for a few twists? My SCORING: 99-96=Great; 95-90=Very good; 89-85=Good; 84-80=So-so; 79-70=Boring; Below 70=Forget it

Just watchable, with some scary elements about being trapped in underwater caves with man-eating sharks.

Yaz eğlencesi. 2019'un köpek balığı filmi. Gizli 1 mağarayı keşfeden 4 kız arkadaş, kör köpekbalıklarıyla olduğunu öğrenir. Mağaradan köpek balıklarından kaçmak için uğraşırlar. Konu sağlam, su altı çekimleri başarılı. Fakat gerçekci gibi durmuyor. Ama heyecan yükü yüksek. Filmin sonunda, bahtsız deveyi köpekbalığına çekermiş. Bağıra çağıra ye beni. Doyamazsın tadıma.

Why the hell are they using the title 47 meters down. It has nothing to do with the original or being 47 meters down. Ridiculous

It starts pretty bad, especially the overdubbed dialogues between the four girls are cringeworthy. But the movie gets better when it moves along, seeming to embrace more what it is; a silly B shark attack movie. The shark attack scenes get more tense and fun, instead of simple jump scare. And the last five minutes are really outlandish fun
