The first western feature directed by a woman! A lady called Ruth Ann Baldwin, who worked behind the scenes at Universal as a script writer, that in 1917 got the opportunity to control the production on a few films. And she does a capable job. A pleasant B-western, which lacked the great shooting action, but had a more human quality. I guess that's the female touch. However after '49-'17 she didn't direct any more movies and soon disappear all-together from the movie industry without a trace.
