One of the better Mark/Jack Long films, this one is about a retiring kung fu master who tours the country side, defeating all his kung fu rivals one last time before hanging it up for good. Nonstop excellent old school fighting.

Loses steam after an hour but it's still a great Joseph Kuo/Kung Fu flick.

The fights are dizzying and plentiful. The comic relief is awful, but the related training sequence makes up for it.

There are some good fights and some sloppy fights as well. The final fight is definitely the highlight here. The story is lacking and the final twist is one you know as soon as you are introduced to the characters at the beginning. Also most of the characters are two dimensional at best. It's a good Kung Fu flick but hardly great or a must see. I haven't been that impressed with Joseph Kuo's work and this didn't really change my mind.

It's very dense with fights, including some good choreography alongside kinda silly and awkwardly edited acrobatics. The combination of an incomprehensibly stupid script, awful humor and charmless acting really brings it down.

This is a classic with a ridiculous final plot reveal. The fighting is moderately entertaining and the story line is the typical contrived quest to be the champion. The twists in the story subtract from it. Dialogs are rather pathetic. Awful music. Worth watching for a few fighting scenes, but you have to wade through a lot of silly hand swings, kicks and back flips to see them. Only martial arts fans could enjoy this. The director needs to learn that less is more.

Neat. When I first saw it, I thought it was amazing. Reviewing it several years later, just don't get the same feeling.

This movie is one of the most badass movies ever made. It also clearly inspired and influenced so many others.

The part after the intro is a little slow, but it picks up a lot and a really great climax.
