At 7:19 on September 19, 1985 a massive earthquake hits Mexico City. Martin and Fernando are two men trapped under seven floors of rubble as they try to survive while providing leadership for other survivors they can't see. This proves difficult as these two men come from very different social classes and places in life. Will they be able to survive until they are rescued?

While 7:19 feels like a very realistic disaster movie, it fails to be a very interesting movie in general. The movie largely takes place in a tiny bit of the ground floor of a collapsed building where two survivors are trapped. This means that there is little action in the movie, but the dialogue doesn't really rise enough to take this movie to interesting places. At times it does, but mostly it's just awkward and random. Throw in the fact it is a depressing subject and you get an okay movie.
