Nothing at all happens, I'm sorry to break this news to you all. I sat there for 90 silent minutes feeling my Christmas spirit leave me and die and it's the first week of November, I'm going to have more fun celebrating rememberance day.

As a fan of the first movie, this one is laughably base and try-hard. Every joke is either telegraphed by a mile or the punchline is just saying what the audience is thinking out loud. I'd expect more from Lucas and Moore, who actually had ideas and stories in them. This one has no ideas or stories, just wooden archetypes that make as much sense as Kathryn Hahn getting movie roles.

"A Bad Mom's Christmas" is a shittier, yuletide version of the original, where the male writers' perception of adult women cutting loose looks a lot like the behavior of 14-year-old boys when adults aren't looking. Seriously, what kind of woman, mom or otherwise, calls randomly twerking on a mall santa fun? But hell, that beats reality, I don't really have an interest in watching Mila Kunis spend three hours at a Bath and Body Works smelling different candles either, so there's that.

3 sets of families and they still had to add filler at the bounce gym and at the mall. Middle class white people problems, though Christine Baranski was definitely more than middle class. Her behavior was quite outrageous. Even Wanda Sykes looked tired. I didn't watch the original so I don't know if this was an improvement. I will say this was an improvement over the Netflix Dolly Parton movie letdown I switched from. Fav scene: Justin Hartley getting his balls waxed.

Some good jokes and a great roster of actresses in what is essentially a collection of montages.

I got what I expected. Pairs well with drinking. Susan Sarandon is the shining star in this one.

Just passable sequel doesn't hold together, lacking the spontaneous rhythm and chemistry of Part 1, but there are some amusing bits here (Sykes, all of the slapstick montages), as well as a genuinely well-wrought and believable performance from Baranski, who is playing to the cheap seats but manages to make her harridan a sympathetic (and funny) figure. Sarandon has a few choice moments as well, but the rest of the cast largely struggle with their sometimes too strident characters.

Bad Moms did surprised me years ago. But somehow, I didn't even know this christmas special exists. I understand why now. There was no necessity to make this christmas cliche. No need to watch it and all 9 points to Kristen Bell for trying her best.

Not a fantastic movie, but the jokes made me laugh. Raunchy and funny without relying on any one kind of humor to drive the film (Like the later Hangover movies had with gross out humor). It's not for everyone but I had an enjoyable, but most likely forgettable time at the movies.

I was wondering what is all the fuss about with all those mom comedies. I guess it's just the way of actors getting together and having some fun while making money... Like Erasmus - you don't really go to learn for a year to another country. That said, I only at Criticker realized that the movie is actually a sequel and I just felt sad and empty inside. But you go actresses, have fun!

As far as comedies these days go, this was pretty good. Nothing like the good old 90-s/early 2000s comedies but there were some good moments in this on and the characters are enjoyable.

A Bad Moms Christmas is another bad comedy. Even those of you who liked the first movie will likely find yourselves wishing for this one to end far earlier than it does. The jokes don't work, the characters are insufferable, the plot is barely existent, and it fails to justify its existence to the audience. We know why it was made--a quick cash-grab--but there's no reason these stories needed to be told. Don't waste your money on A Bad Moms Christmas.

The characters are too hyperbolic to take seriously which muddles any sort of lame morality the movie wants to convey. The women are written to be insufferable manchildren who are neither funny or engaging participating in activities that would be called "sexist" if the genders were swapped. Most of the jokes are, like the last film, crude and juvenile garbage whose only punchline is the fact it's crude and juvenile. It's a film that seeks the lowest denominator and achieves its goal.
