A mystery man who calls himself 'Shenandoah' turns up in town one day and bumps into a gang of local thugs in a bar. He gets challenged to a poker game and ends up loosing - though this doesn't concern him too much since all the dollar bills he's carrying are fakes. The game is interrupted when some other bandits attempt to rob the town's bank, and it soon becomes apparent that there's more to the stranger when he lends a hand to an injured robber... (imdb)

Dull western is another in the series of Leone knock-offs which lack the wit or originality, let alone the flamboyance, to elevate its pulpy subject matter. Not particularly painful, but nothing to distinguish it from other entries in the genre.

Early spaghetti western with good enough production values. There's a couple of nice duels, but otherwise it's nothing special and has some forced comedy; mainly provided by the old-timer. While Steffen's character is not interested in any love interests, all women are amusingly still madly in love with him. It’s bright spot are the bandits; especially Eduardo Fajardo and Arturo Dominici manage to elevate their characters beyond the regular villains. Steffen is also a good fit in his role.
