A Corny Concerto

What Looney Tunes understood better than any cartoon that's followed is that a reference shouldn't be the joke in and of itself, but simply the basis of a joke. They don't condescend to you.

A total classic. Fantasia needed to be skewered, and it was done perfectly.

Elmer Fudd sucks but the two concertos that make up the vast majority of the film are excellent.

The music is great, the parts not so much although the second is far better than the first.

Superior spoof, which litterally pulls the pants down on "Fantasia" exposing its pretentiousness and how it suffers from restrained imagination... The second part is better, but overall it's recommendable as a fun Disney-antidote

Glorious parody of the pretension and excess of Fantasia.

The second half is by far superior to the first half, but I've always liked the classical music cartoons. It really gave the Loony Toons a sense of class to balance out all the zany violence.
