Rude, joyous and full of sexual anarchy, this John Waters comedy has a generous heart and a dirty mind. (Fine Line Features)

Waters likes his outrageousness and it's all on display here. I'm not sure if I'd call this good but I enjoyed it for it's pure absurdity.

My first Johnny Knoxville film and he's actually good in it. John water's looks back at his earlier works yet doesn't just regurgitate. As always wonderfully entertaining and wonderfully tacky

More of a guitly pleasure than a reflection on this as a good movie, or even a good bad movie, since (let's face it) Waters has mellowed out quite a bit over the years.

Everything is genitals but it feels so squeaky clean.

Very amusing if you like such a kind of humor. Do not watch if you hate Team America, South Park and crazy parodies.

Someone eats out a tree in this movie if I'm not mistaken. For all its craziness, though, I found it sorta dull.

A sex comedy of its time that's far superior to its contemporaries, not only because the film is very much about sex, but the jokes are just funnier and more consistently so -- they may be all very crass, but the film's good natured acceptance of different sexualities and fetishes is actually pleasant. I just wasn't a fan of the head hitting element in the story and all the slapstick jokes to do with that, which unfortunately becomes more and more prominent.

A lot of fun but also oddly tedious. Normally Waters spends almost too much time on the setup but here we almost have too little to establish characters and so we have no real pay off. Still there's a lot of good gags and performances but literally no story; even for Waters there's no plot here. A little more structure could have done wonders here. Recommend as underrated with enough laughs to stand toe to toe against other regular Hollywood comedies unwilling to go this far.

A little funny but overall it was just your average raunchy film. Grade: C Plus.

A mess, but very funny in spots. Also, the music is pretty fantastic. I tried watching this on TV with all the "dirty" language excised and it was just stupid, which may let you know how much this movie relies on shock.

Silly and campy, but there's nothing too genuinely funny or shocking.

Hard to dislike this goodnatured ode to bad behavior. It's best when it's at its weirdest, and it gets pretty weird. The film is such a fantasy by the time it starts essentially playing sexual assault for laughs that I can't begrudge it too much for doing so.

Waters comes full circle from the "Rosary Job" in Multiple Maniacs to make a movie about divine perversion. It's a zombie movie where we can root for the horde of mindless sex monsters.

I hear this was supposed to be Water's return to making gross-out films. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. The concept itself is funny, but the movie seems to drag along until I could barely give a shit about the end.
