A Family Thing

The cable guy had to come over to fix something, and when he did he randomly put this movie on to see if everything was working okay. Quickly the movie began to lull me with this nice little story about family and race, enhanced by some great acting. I'm glad this was the random thing he chose to test, I sat and watch the whole thing while he finished up and snuck off. Extra points for the James Earl Jones stuntman appearance during the, then the both 64 year-old Jones and Duvall, "fight" scene.

Good small movie. Very human story about how you can't choose your relatives but you can make the best of it

Much more dramatic than I thought it would be. It takes an interesting story and goes interesting places with it.

Good film.
