A Funny Shave

Love the acting, love the breaking the third wall, love the great (for its time) special effects. Overall, I love everything about this fun, forgotten early comedy gem. Kinda creepy to think that this film is older than almost every human being alive.

More like a creepy asf shave. I guess the French put some hardcore drugs into shaving cream back in the day.

Just WTF!?

Umm, the grotesque faces are anything but funny, but the main hero saves it. His facial expressions are really good and not overdone. He also gives this sympathy feeling and makes some gestures which also my grandma was using. Nobody does it now, so it feels nostalgic. Extra points just for that.
