A lovely little silent love story! Norma Shearer is a pretty little scammer who tricks men for her own benefit. She prefers to work alone, but some colleagues want in on her deal and she's forced to work with Lowell Sherman & Gwen Lee or else they'll squeal! Shearer is adorable as the scam artist. A true gold digger! Sherman is also wonderful as the gentleman crook! Then Shearer falls for naive country boy Johnny Mack Brown thinking he's rich and marries him. But he's not as rich as she hoped.
