a bunch of embarrassingly dated acid-head word-salad. has value from an anthropological perspective, but as a film for entertainment it's garbage. also why do all the brazilians on this site automatically 10-tier every piece of junk brazilian film their country puts out

Angela Carne e Osso sucks everything that is good (a poet) and bad (Jo Soares as this comic book entrepreneur who often dresses like a military) about Brazil, in this sleazy, Nouvelle Vague-esque rock and roll tale of bourgeoise's fever.

Perplexing but charming movie, likely more meaningful for Brazilian viewers. Full of blunt expressions of free love, social revolution, female domination, etc. etc. Lots of topless prancing on display. Most entertaining when the movie emulates comic books; the heroine is a sexually voracious failed hypnotist/ international stripper and hysterical vampire, her husband ""Dr. Plirtz" a villainous ex-Nazi. Grade ignores a/v quality, which was terrible on the only copy I could find.
