A Perfect Vacation

Bargain basement action movie starts with an engaging enough MOST DANGEROUS GAME premise but quickly goes down hill, with absurd plotting and amateurish performances. Difficult to be too cruel to this sort of cheapie pot boiler but the resultant film is tame and ultimately anemic. Must be one of the most misleading titles in cinema history (though AWAKEN makes only marginally more sense).

Not nearly as bad as most would have you believe, this is a fine bit of light entertainment to view one time. It is by no means great, mostly because of crappy production and filming. The lead actress is good and gives it her all, the rest of the cast of fairly well known actors are pretty much just mailing it in though.

Boring, predictable, repetitive.

Possibly the worst film I have ever seen. It was on Netflix so I didn't waste any money, but I did waste my time. From a dragging pace, to unintentionally funny moments. The most memorable parts are a hilariously bad stare the lead gives after killing someone, and the biggest continuity error I have ever laid eyes upon, in which two characters switch out (some guy magically changed into Edward Furlong's character after a screen change, the raft in the ocean part). Would not recommend, ever...

A run of the mill 'trapped on a deserted island' output with names such as Daryl Hannah & Vinnie Jones there for the easy paycheck.
