A Poem is a Naked Person

There are plenty of works like it (Woodstock really comes to mind), but that doesn't really rob this film of its enchanting, artistically expressive potency. One minute it's got Russell shredding the hell out of a piano, and the next you hear artist Jim Franklin waxing philosophic while a snake kills and eats a chick. I think direct style works get gradually more fascinating the more chronological distance we get from them, and here's a stellar example.
