Manages to subvert your expectations at every turn, but not once in a good way. It's roughly one minute after they've arrived in town that everyone is outed as vampires and then the plot involves writing a vampire Bible, Tara Reid as a ten year old bride, a drifter that's a Nazi hunter turned vampire killer, and something to do with cows. Awful and boring despite the bewilderment.

Creepy town full of vampires. Not easy to fuck up, but the fine cast and crew of A Return to... are fully up to the task.

Mediocre social satire disguised as a horror with an outdated political target. Fuller offers the sole point of amusement as an old vampire hunter.

One of the worst movies I made it through. Awful acting and script.

Don't remember much of anything from this flick viewed many moons ago, and I am generally a pretty forgiving fan of vampire movies.

Crappy acting all around kill this mildly entertaining story. Moriarty acts as if there is always something he'd rather be doing.

Fragments of Cohen's style pierces through the low, TV-like production values, particularly with the heavy handed attempts at satire with the vampires, but this plods along with its plot without any sense of creativity. What boosts it up a point however is director Samuel Fuller, pistol in hand, stealing the entire film with his complete disregard for everything else around him.

Sam Fuller's nazi hunter might be one of the greatest HUMAN BEINGS -- not just characters -- who ever walked on earth -- or in front of a camera. This seems a bit disjointed and clumsy, but fun as hell.

Larry Cohen's tongue in cheek sequel gets a lot of flak, but I had a blast with it. Moriarty gives his usual compelling, quirky performance in the lead, and Sam Fuller is a blast as the old vampire hunter. Cheap production values hurt, but that's not unusual for Cohen.

Sam Fuller manages to bring this up above a 50 but even then this isn't a good movie and I say that as a fan of bad movies.

Actually better than it's predecessor, which isn't saying that much, but Fullers character makes it all come together nicely.
