May be not as good as the first one, but it has the same charm of it's predecessor.

Very cute, and all the usual Aardman attention to detail. Something for everyone. A well done U.

Pleasant and genial follow-up is a case of "more of the same" - again lacking the darker and more subversive airs of WALLACE & GROMIT, Shaun is a likable, if inconsequential, hero; his antics can't quite sustain a feature length film, but this pleasant and pun-filled variation on E.T. is a painless way to kill some time. References to sci-fi/invasion movie icons past and present good for a few chuckles!

The middle mark (or should I perhaps say the middle burp...? No, no, excuse me, I feel quite sheepish about this already, I can assure you) separates a brilliant first half and a pretty mediocre second half.

Aardman Animation literally doing E.T. with the titular ovine with a dislocated jaw taking up the responsibility of getting some little blue puppy creature back to his home planet. As with the previous film I find the lack of dialogue puts a strain on the visuals over 90 mins, probably more so here, but there are still so many clever and witty Aardman visual and audio gags throughout. It's just a shame the overall narrative is reasonably bland which tilts it more towards being one for kids only

I know nothing of Shaun the Sheep, but it's nice to see a feature film pull off not having any dialogue. The gags are childish, meaning I laughed more than I should, to my wife's amusement (she wasn't actively watching either). Animation is top notch, references to other scifi are wide open and fun, and Farmageddon breezes by. Another film in the "It's nice because it's nice and it made me feel nice" column.

While this one still has all the charm and cleverness that was shown in the first film, I was never able to enjoy this one as much as the first one. I really do not know why. Maybe because it is a story that has been repeated and repeated again?

The simple charms is always the key to Shaun the Sheep and that delivers in Farmageddon. Worked for the entire family.

Mild, but cute. A relatively slight entry in the Aardman catalog, but still has the beautiful visuals and ingenious sight-gags standard in all their work. The by-the-numbers story is a little finger-drumming, and the constant foiling of the main characters is more often frustrating than amusing, but A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (cumbersome title aside) remains a charming diversion.

Beautifully crafted and charming. It’s not Aardmans strongest effort, but it achieves what it sets out to do.

A bit disappointing. I liked the first one, but this was quite routine rehash of films like E.T, Explorers, etc. I didn't think it worked that well as a Shaun the Sheep movie nor really utilized the farm setting. There were references to crop circles, but they could have added e.g. abductions and 50's style visuals. Design of the extra-terrestrial was not very inspired nor was the MIB style antagonist. It's not a bad film by any means, but just a disappointing one coming from Aardman.
