A Yank at Oxford

MGM sends it's stars to the UK to produce this movie about a cocky American going to school at Oxford. The surroundings are very British, but it's a very American movie. All down to the morals and inflated ego. But it's a very enjoyable movie in it's own corny way. Nice to see them out of the typical Hollywood atmosphere. This is probable the hardest I've seen Robert Taylor work! He's so often just a cardboard handsome man, but here he has to run with both his feet AND mouth!
