I think it's really sweet that this production company lets a special ed class write a script and then produce it. Characters announce what they're doing and there's this weird Christmas thing going on with it, since you know how much stupid people love them some Santy Claus. The dog did it. There I saved you 80 minutes.

This movie was obviously made by aliens trying to emulate a standard human-made horror movie. It has a half-decent premise and hits all the conventional dramatic turns, but the details don't make a lick of sense, and none of the characters can possibly be considered functional human beings.

An absolute turd of a film. I am not going to waste your (and my) time continuing to talk about this. Let's just go outside and try to enjoy life before we all meet our end.

The story was so good Such a simple premise,it could have been gold. Unfortunately the script was bland and full of cliches, overall predictable, and the acting was horrible. Tho directing was decent, there were just too many things wrong with it to seriously enjoy it.I was shouting at the screen ever 5 minutes ,the bad guy and the 3 main characters all behaved so dumb.... If your a fan of the gorgeous Alice Eve, id recommend this. Otherwise, only for the fans of the genre! They might get a giggle.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. The story setting has been done (ie Phone Booth). The acting is horrific, Brian Geraghty is probably the worst actor of all time.. and I'm sorry for Alice Eve cause she deserves better. The plot sucks and the victims are way too stupid. Also the story is too predictable and the murderer kind of boring.

Guess I was kind of the in mood for this, because I actually found brains in Sparling's script -- is this a revenge against these guys that made people's money disappear a few years ago? --, despite the dull progression of screams, deaths and false scares. I blame Brooks' shy look for making ATM so insufficient -- when it shouldn't be. What I'm going to say now might seem absurd, but Shyamalan would've made this work pretty good.

There are so many scenes and situation in this movie that will make viewers cringe! This is a thriller movie that will put you on the edge of your seats and beat your heart to the fast race. The 3 main casts put the movie on a superior thriller movie even though its genre is nothing new with a plot comparable to Phonebooth and Saw series. I think their acting and characterization made the movie a superb one. Plot is somewhat similar to other movies that i mentioned earlier but still carefully t

Tense enough to keep me in my seat with my eyes glued, but nothing here really makes it stand out from the pack. Some of the acting is hit or miss, but it's mostly the character motivations that feel really off. A lot of what they do just doesn't make sense.

It's not a bad idea of the movie. Yea, few fails here and there, but it's watchable IMO.

Truly, truly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Nothing makes sense. The acting is terrible. The scariest part is that I won't get that hour and a half back. Ugh.

There was some silliness toward the end but it kept me interested throughout. I'd watch a sequel.

Solid concept and even the obligatory 'twist' is pretty okay. Script needed a lot more work to make this cohere though, and the two male actors are awful. Alice Eve's performance comes of better by being merely middling.

Interesting concept, but not very good execution. Even though it held my attention for most of it, it wasn't that interesting. The ending was unsatisfying. I don't have a problem with the killer getting away or anything, bleak endings are fine, but there was no closure at all. Josh Peck tries his hardest to be funny for the first 30 minutes, and fails miserably. Overall it's great, but not really that bad either, maybe I'm just a sucker for movies with limited storytelling.

Would have been a good idea, but there were too many questions and what if that normal people would have at least tried. The movie could have ended 10 minutes earlier and it wouldn't have broken my for that either.

Not terribly original or brilliantly done, but not without amusement value, and the ending has an enigmatic quality, which I'm not entirely sure was deliberate. I almost gave it 35 and may change the score downward if I ever think about it again, but also, and I mean this, I might not. Even if I do think about it again, I mean. There are longish sequences throughout - alternating with - the credits.

Shame the story wasn't thought about a bit more. The acting was decent. More plots holes than you can shake a stick at. Shame.

although the cast fits into their characters, ATM never reaches the depth of a scary classic film director David Brooks was aiming for.

During the setup I let it pass that all the actors look like models and everything looks eerily slick, because that's a prevalent thing in modern cinema, but once it becomes a horror movie the case was closed: the lead-up to a completely predictable ending is, for lack of a nicer description, full of shit. The script is contrived, implausible and very often nonsensical.

Totally undeserving of its horrible reputation, a convincingly tense single-set thriller that makes the most of a solid concept (office workers trapped in an ATM vestibule by a maniac). The ending doesn't quite pan out as well as you might hope, and it's (naturally) replete with poor decision-making from our protagonists, but it's absolutely worth a watch if the genre and premise appeal.

A trend of horror in recent times has been to take the average, and make it terrifying, gone are the days of monsters from alternative dimensions. In this venture, a killer attacks an ATM. Given the premise, the film does a better job than many to instill fear, without use of jumpscares. However, the nonsensical character reactions, and gaping plot holes ensure this movie is as bad as you would expect.
