It's like hanging out with Abel Ferrara for the night, except you're really drunk and you can't hear everything that's going on and your feet hurt and even though it's amazing you're hanging out with this dude you still wanna go home. A reasonable insight into this filmmaker.

Appropriately messy 'documentary' that follows its subject around New York and observes his interactions with fans, crew members, business associates and random strangers who manage to get in the frame. The impression we get of Ferrara is that he is an impulsive yet controlled and driven man who very much lives in the moment. It's this mix of contrary impulses that arguably explains the uneven quality of his films yet makes him such a compelling and unique figure in contemporary cinema.
