Who's funding these movies? At least Demi Moore has lots of hot sex in this.

Has its moments, but drags in places & generally feels longer than it needs to be. One of those romance movies where you'll be screaming at the protagonist not to be such an idiot. Belushi is hilarious, and Demi brings the charm.

Young demi nude. Ok performances, other than that the movie seems like its about 3 hours long.

An adaptation of Mamet's play Sexual Perversity in Chicago. Not good, but there's one great comic monologue from the play, I think Jim Belushi delivers it, that's pretty good.

The trailer is cheesy as hell but it's actually fairly cute.

This is a raw and very real exploration of a romantic relationship that starts with plenty of sparks,romance and that intensity where you want to spend every waking hour together. Then we see the heartbreaking demise brought on by male peer pressure & stereotypical expectations. Lowe & Moore really invest themselves in the characters of the really engaging drama/romance with excellent, realistic dialogue. Really relatable & one to revisit again and again.

Rob Lowe looking like a kid who had his candy stolen and Demi Moore looking like everything you'd ever need for christmas. Guess who earned the points.

Elizabeth Perkins is fun.

Between this and St. Elmos Fire I think I can go the rest of my life without seeing another 80s love tragedy. They are supposed to be a slice of life and make you feel sympathetic and reflective, but they just end up being exhausting.

Cá entre nós, preferiria mil vezes que o Gordon tivesse dirigido a versão pra cinema também, já que tenho sérios problemas com o cinema do Edward Zwick, sem falar que espremeram tanto isso aqui que não sobrou nada do Mamet. Not my kind of film.

I love looking at Demi Moore. Jim Belushi is great.

The movie is close to being a conventional romance about the adjustments that lovers have to make in their first year together ... If anyone comes out of this enterprise with honor it's Perkins, who, in her first screen appearance, brings appealing, plaintive undercurrents to a ghastly role

I had the impression that this was a kind of John Hughes film, and was surprised to find out that it's actually a film about 80's hedonism and excess instead. Another surprise was that it's based on a play by David Mamet which definitely made a difference. However, under all that is a very conventional love story, and the end result is an odd combination of syrup and raunchy dialogue.

One of the best looking screen couples I've ever seen,but neither character I found particularly likable or interesting. Some good dialogue,but a lot of cheese thrown in as well. OK,but nothing too memorable...
